Adventures never run out in Florida. Whether young or old, Florida has something in store for you. Today, we’ll give you a quick primer on activities that adults can do in the so-called Theme Park Capital of the World. However, we’ll stray away from the theme parks for a while. We’ve prepared a list of activities that you’ll surely enjoy aside from Orlando’s famous theme parks. Let’s begin.
Before starting your Orlando adventure, there are some quick reminders we’d like you to know. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the officials of the City of Orlando would like to remind visitors to follow minimum health guidelines when visiting the city. Fully vaccinated individuals are no longer required to wear face coverings when entering facilities.
On the contrary, individuals who aren’t fully vaccinated are encouraged to wear face coverings. The 14-day positivity rate in Orange Country is at 3.51% as of October 27, 2021. The numbers have been seeing a downward trend since August. For more information and updates, visit orlando.gov/COVID-19 to get live updates regarding COVID-19.
To kick start your adventure in Orlando, let’s start with some “out of the road” experience. We know how easy it is to visit Orlando’s theme parks. That’s why we’re recommending unique tourist attractions that’ll make your stay in Orlando a memorable one.

In case you’re hungry, treat yourself to some of Orlando’s finest restaurants. Yes, we know that you prefer fast-food chains. But, we’d like you to taste the flavors of different cuisines offered by Orlando restaurants. Here’s our list of must-visit restaurants for adults wanting to calm their growling stomachs.
Capa is a Spanish restaurant located on the 17th floor of the Four Seasons Resort Orlando. This restaurant features Hispanic taste with their cured meats, tapas, foie gras with quince, and various Spanish cheeses. However, they’ll also treat your taste buds as try their main dishes of Wagyu beef, lamb, and short ribs braised in rioja sauce.
Looking for dessert? Capa has the classic churros, crema de coco (coconut sorbet with mango espuma) and guindilla.
Knife & Spoon
You can find Knife & Spoon in the Ritz-Carlton Grand Lakes Orlando. This restaurant boasts its new signature steak, thanks to award-winning Chef John Tesar. Many people flock to the Knife & Spoon because of Tesar’s steak, and we don’t want you to miss it. The beef here is not ordinary. It came from Texas, and all of this meat undergoes dry aging. Some even say that the best goes as long as 240 days.
Other steaks have been dry-aging for 45 to 150 days, so the taste will truly not disappoint. The steak is tender, rich in flavor, and heavenly.
The Ravenous Pig
For starters, at The Ravenous Pig, you can enjoy the charcuterie, deviled eggs, and the Gruyere biscuits. Moving on to the mains, you’ll savor the explosive flavors of their lamb pita sandwiches North African style, house-favorite hanger steak, and their lemon pork chop with lemon-caper sauce.
Experience a five-star safari environment with Tiffins. You’ll start with naan and lavash with chutney. It’s still the beginning, but the flavors are too much already. You also get artisanal cheeses and falafel before the mains. In the main course, a must-try is their butter chicken and hearty braised lamb steak.
