Sober Living for Men
Real Recovery is a growing community of sober living homes located in the Tampa Bay area (throughout Hillsborough, Pinellas, Manatee, and Sarasota County) where men who are serious about recovering from the seemingly hopeless disease of alcoholism and addiction can build a new way of life filled with purpose, among likeminded sober peers.
Real Recovery provides an affordable and realistic structure built upon the principles of 12-step recovery programs to afford each resident a safe, supportive, and drug-free environment with personalized treatment plans to achieve their long-term goals and lasting sobriety.
Driven To Be Better
Sober living homes by definition are aftercare facilities for various needs of recovery; however, we provide more than shelter and apartment-style amenities. We are not a 12-step bootcamp, “flophouse,” or hotel but we are a community of sober men who work hard every day to be better people, fathers, brothers, sons, and carry out real positive change in our lives.
Whether residents are introduced to sober living through family intervention, the court system, or of their own desire to build a brighter future they can be proud of. All our clients receive the same opportunities, compassion, personalized support, and tools to achieve their long-term life goals.
Strength In Unity
Camaraderie is a key component of the success we share here at Real Recovery, our residents build strong bonds with their peers, ones they take away with them when they move on and often return as alumni to mentor other men who follow. Forming strong social support networks and learning to build healthy relationships is crucial to building a strong foundation for when life throws a curveball in recovery.
The disease of alcoholism and drug addiction does not exist in a vacuum, that’s why we work together with our residents, their families, mental health professionals, out-patient care, and take a holistic approach heals the root cause instead of simply treating the symptom to ensure each step in the recovery process is in sync and moves towards a united goal.
